Universal Jobmatch

Universal Jobmatch

Further to previous updates, Universal Jobmatch went live on 19 November 2012.  It has replaced all existing DWP job search services.  However people can still use the Jobpoints in Jobcentres.  It is our new, modern, online job posting and automated matching service and is the primary source of vacancy information.

Jobseekers will need a Government Gateway account to access the full service. If they already have an active account and know their Government Gateway User ID they can use this to access Universal Jobmatch. They will also need an email account and a good CV.

Employers, too, will need a Government Gateway Account if they do not already have one. This will be needed each time they log into Universal Jobmatch to place a vacancy, review automatic system generated matches against vacancies or invite jobseekers to apply and invite to interview. It also provides them with a quick way to give feedback to jobseekers.

Universal Jobmatch will look and behave in a similar way to existing on-line job search tools.  Anyone can register and access is via GOV.UK.
